Biography
Rachel Cortés is a lawyer specializing in securities markets and corporate law with more than 10 years of experience. She is Legal Manager and Compliance Officer at Latitude Investments. Before joining Latitude, she led legal affairs for the TC Latin America Partners group beginning in 2023.
She began her career at Headrick as an associate in the Corporate Department, focusing on M&A and corporate matters. She has public-sector experience in securities market regulation in the Dominican Republic, having served as Manager of the Technical and Legal Support Division of the Superintendency of the Securities Market.
She has been a professor at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). She participates in the Legal and Compliance Committee of the Dominican Association of Investment Fund Management Companies (ADOSAFI). She is a member of the Dominican Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association. She was also recognized in the GC Powerlist for the Dominican Republic by Legal500.
